Daytime Instruction

Led by Tim LaMonte, a former MLB and Minor League hitting coach with over 20 years of experience in player development, this program combines professional-level baseball instruction with an understanding of how young people learn, grow, and mature. Training emphasizes movement quality, swing efficiency, confidence, and long-term athletic development rather than short-term results.

In addition to his professional baseball background, Tim spent 16 years in public education as a classroom teacher and coach, working in ESL, reading intervention, physical education, and athletics. This experience allows him to communicate clearly, teach intentionally, and support athletes as whole learners, not just players.

What Daytime Training Looks Like

Athletic Support

  • Baseball instruction

    • Hitting, Throwing, Pitching, Arm Care, Catching, Fielding or Mental Skills

  • Nutrition and Physical Education

  • Strength and conditioning

Academic and Life Skills Support

For homeschool families seeking a more integrated daytime experience, Tim can also assist with:

  • Reading and writing support

  • Study habits and learning strategies

  • Basic nutrition education and performance habits

This support is approached in a practical, age-appropriate way and is designed to complement each family’s existing homeschool curriculum, not replace it.

Who This Is For

Daytime instruction is ideal for:

  • Homeschool baseball athletes

  • Families seeking structured daytime training

  • Athletes focused on long-term development and personal growth

My Approach

I do my best to keep all of my training grounded in evidence-based coaching and teaching principles and real-world experience. Every session is guided by a simple philosophy: observe accurately, communicate clearly, intervene at the right time, and have as much fun as we can in the process.

The goal is not to overload athletes / students with information, but to help them understand concepts and principles, build confidence, and develop skills that they can take with them when they leave.
